Water becomes a standout within the context of this arid region. The Aroona Dam, a few kms from the main highway at Copley, was built for the coal mine at Leigh Creek. Set against the deep orange/yellow of the rocky matrix of the surrounding hills it is a startling colour combination. Frame size: 30 x 30cms.
